SCIENCE LABS:
Nankana Sahib Public School has well equipped labs where students put theory into practice. All facilities are provided to our young innovators to meet the curriculum demands with care and guidance of our expert faculty and well trained lab assistants. Besides being equipped, the labs are spacious, airy, organised and well kept.
PHYSICS LAB
Demos, experiments, and practicals are carried out by the students over here. Students are guided and observed while they are at work in the physics lab. The lab is well-equipped with modern apparatus, enabling students to explore various concepts through hands-on learning. Under the supervision of experienced faculty, students conduct experiments that enhance their understanding of theoretical principles. They develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills by analyzing results and drawing conclusions. CHEMISTRY LAB
The smell of fumes that emanates from this lab defines the young scientists in the making. The lab is thoroughly equipped and proves to be a platform for inquisitive minds. All the experiments are carried out under vigilance. Besides the experiments, all activities are as per the NCERT requirements. BIOLOGY LAB
The Bio lab gives hands-on experience to the students in all aspects of the subject. There are live and preserved specimens of plants and animals to facilitate course experiments. There is a good collection of permanent slides that proves to be a wealth of information for the students. All modern, scientific apparatus along with models and charts are used here. The lab provides a stimulating environment for students to explore biological concepts through observation and experimentation. COMPUTER LAB
Nankana Sahib Public School has a well-equipped and well-maintained computer section with the latest computers on the network. A well-equipped computer lab, equipped with the latest hardware and software, is well utilized by all. Every effort is being made to utilize the available facilities and develop computer awareness in each and every student. Computer learning has been recognized as an essential and useful tool of modern learning. Students are trained in coding, programming, and digital literacy to keep up with the evolving technology. The lab provides a platform for practical application, fostering problem-solving skills and creativity in the digital world.
SMART CLASSES
At Nankana Sahib. Public School, we have the Smart Class concept also in practice. What might otherwise seem dull or monotonous with just text-book studies, becomes bright, and captivating in the flash and animation movies, which re-affirm the concepts already taught in class. This makes the process of learning fun and also ensures the lasting impact on the tech-savvy minds of today’s generation.

LIBRARY
Sir Francis Bacon rightly said, “Some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed, and some few to be chewed and digested”
Being a part of the curriculum, the library of Nankana Sahib Public School has become an important tool in the propagation of academic advancement. Our librarian and teachers encourage the children to choose books according to their taste. We find that our children are improving not only in the subject matter chosen for reading, but also in language- expression, vocabulary and fluency.
MUSIC & DANCE ROOM
Music is the food of the soul. It is the source of solace and upliftment. Vocal music training is given to the students, and children are taught to use various instruments like Harmonium, Casio, Guitar, Tabla, etc. Indian and Western dances like classical, folk, and contemporary dances are taught in the school. Regular music and dance sessions help students develop rhythm, coordination, and a deep appreciation for the performing arts. Participation in cultural programs and competitions nurtures confidence and stage presence. The school encourages students to express themselves creatively, fostering a lifelong love for music and dance.
SPORTS & GAMES
Qualities like leadership and sportsmanship are closely interwoven in the school’s curriculum. The school has a big playground and provides ample opportunities for students to participate in various games and sports under the guidance of experienced physical education teachers. The main aim is to develop not only their physical but also their mental health. Cricket, Handball, Table tennis are some of the games played regularly.
Special coaching in various sports is arranged. The School also provides training in Boxing and Kho – Kho. Sports Day is an annual event which provides a platform to all students to showcase their talent and sportsmanship.
HOBBY CLASSES
The students are given a wide choice under SUPW and Hobby classes such as Dance, Dramatics, Music, and Sports, depending upon their aptitude and talent. The school provides immense space and facilities for music and dance activities. The students enthusiastically participate in these activities and bring laurels to the school at inter-school contests. These programs help in honing their skills, building confidence, and fostering teamwork. TRANSPORT FACILITY
Transport is a facility extended to the students of the school. The school reserves the right to alter or withdraw this facility on any of these routes with due notice to the parents. The routes are also likely to be changed in case of repair of the roads etc. by the civic authorities and no advance notice can be given to the students / parents in this regard. Such changes will remain operative till such time when the road is declared open and safe by the authorities. Parents are also requested not to make any comparison with other school routes and stop etc.
Students, who avail the bus service facility, in case of discontinuation in the middle of the session, will not get the privilege again for the calendar year.

MATHEMATICS LAB
A Math lab has been set up in order to make mathematical learning joyful and interesting. The laboratory is equipped with materials needed to help the students form concepts through meaningful and relevant activities. It provides hands-on learning experiences that enhance problem-solving skills and logical thinking. The lab encourages students to explore, experiment, and apply mathematical concepts in a fun and interactive manner. It helps to develop and strengthen awareness, appreciation, and enjoyment of Mathematics.
LANGUAGE LAB
Communication is the key to success. It’s not the only one, but it does play a crucial role in the success of any person. If you can communicate your thoughts, your ideas and your perception to the person sitting next to you in an exactly similar fashion as it is painted in your mind. The accommodation of a separate language lab in Nankana Sahib Public School is a step ahead in making our students more confident in their approach while conversing.
The language lab is a very useful tool that facilitates classroom engagement and interaction via computer-based exercises and activities to maximize language immersion. These labs provide a very different experience from the traditional system of teaching and learning languages, offering more advanced features and functionalities.
