Anti Ragging Cell

WOMEN CELL & ANTI RAGGING CELL


Ragging is strictly prohibited and is a punishable crime under the Indian Panel Code (UGC regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009 under Section 26(1)(g) of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956). The Anti-Ragging Cell works under the supervision of the Anti-Ragging Committee, which continuously visits and supervises places like the college bus, canteen, classrooms, common room for students, seminar hall, and other places of student congregation. The Anti-Ragging Committee will be involved in designing strategies and an action plan for curbing the menace of ragging in the college by adopting an array of activities.
